A no-cost, Washington brewer only competition. All entries will be judged by a panel of Browns Point Homebrew Club members on October 22 following Lights Out! Dark Beers Only. Only two bottles required for entry.
All beers will be judged in Best of Show format. No scoresheets will be provided. The top five beers will then be judged at a later date by the brewers and tasters of Fremont Brewing, where the sole winner will be granted the opportunity to brew their recipe at Fremont.
Entry window is 9/29-10/13 with initial round of judging on October 22nd. Entry does not have to conform to BJCP guidelines it only needs to use wood at some point in the brewing process and cannot use Brettanomyces or bacterium as it’s intended to be brewed at a commercial brewery.
